Make Summertime Last, With SwaG!

Your radio disk jockey, host and creator of SwaG!, Bat Guano, has been keeping the archives of most of this summer’s radio program in a thumb drive hidden in his anal cavity, we have discovered.

This morning, much to his surprise, came a ringing in the bowl. “There it is! I’ve been looking for that!” he exclaimed. Then he said something about going to the Dairy Queen and tottered off. Alzheimer's is cruel in the way that it advances on the aged.

Mr. Guano is going away for a bit of treatment for a couple of weeks. So in that time, tune in to hear whatever sucker has to substitute at WIDR, Wednesdays, 9 pm Eastern. Or smell the fresh summer winds again with the archived broadcasts below, freshly excreted from Mr. Guano’s soul, soft-serve style.

Under Pressure

Sometimes the weight of the musical world gets to the host of “Bat Guano’s SwaG!,” Bat Guano.

Mr. Guano carefully charts out every episode of SwaG!, making musical maps which show all the possibilities of musical/cultural sound direction. He often throws in a few “monkey wrenches” just to challenge himself. It is these times when, as he watches a 3:23 song of shrieking gibberish countdown to possible radio dead air, he wonders, “WHAT THE F@$# AM I GOING TO PLAY AFTER THIS?!??!?!!?!?”

Then, when midnight comes along and it’s time to go home, he realizes that the entire show had been made of these aforementioned wrenches all along.

It used to be so simple when Mr. Guano could assume that only a handful of people in the syphilitic ward of the Kalamazoo Institute for the Incurably Insane were listening to his program. Now that dozens of people around the world make a point of sampling his broadcasts, the pressure is on to play some good music for a change. It is why he often delays the posting of these archives until, after waiting for months, he just projectile vomits sound files all over the Internet.

Please don’t judge too harshly.
