BIZARRO SwaGio!

Since Bat Guano has been taking numerous Wednesday nights off to do whatever mysterious and certainly unwholesome things he does when alone, he was called into service twice to be the substitute host of Bizzaro Fantastico on Thursday nights.

So instead of “regular” host Dirty Dub, listeners were disoriented by Dirty Guano. And the usual fine programing of beautiful and easy listening music became perverted.

Here are those two nights from Nov. and Oct. 2008 that shocked a nation, in convenient two-hour long chunks.

We shouldn’t have let Mr. Guano go on air in his condition. We’re still cleaning up the mess. Tisk, tisk. Such a mess.

oh, no! it’s GUANO

Bat Guano played a track from DEVO’s New Wave cliche, “oh, no! it’s DEVO” in the first hour of last week’s SwaG!. It’s just a sign that he never thinks thinks things through when it comes to radio programming, and that he’s not quite right in the head. I mean, how’s he going to get from that to Screamin’ Jay Hawkins?

Need further proof? Early in Green Slime he plays 12 minutes of Phyllis Diller which he got from this guy. He then goes into ‘60s cheeze which inexplicably crashes into the Butthole Surfers and Killdozer.

The third hour is an uncomfortable mix of country, punk and soul. As usual.

Mr. Guano did not appear for his SwaG! of the following week. He likely will not be on for the week after as well. So download and cherish this episode.

Mr. Guano likely will return for the special Halloween SwaG!, where he carries on the traditions he started long ago by gargling goat blood, cackling like a maniac, and playing nothing but “The Monster Mash” on a scratched 45.
