Mr. Guano has been having so much fun tooling around the boardwalk (or, rather, so much fun being tooled around) that he’s forgotten to post these archived broadcasts. Mr. Guano has been awfully busy.

He began his cult, The International Army of Freaks, which takes an enormous organizational effort -- ordering the jumpsuits and sneakers in all the right sizes for his followers, making sure the compound is well armed, etc. There’s his letter-writing campaign to the Pepsi-Cola Corp. demanding the return of Mountain Dew Throwback.

And of course Your Radio Friend™ spends the rest of his day hunting for unique musical recordings for SwaG!, and in the night he makes the goodtimes sexy.

So please accept his apologizing for not keeping this web site stocked with the archived recordings of his SwaG!. Mr. Guano assumes you all are getting it through magical podcast technology, from WIDR-FM. Or that you are satisfied with listening to it as God intended, on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. over 89.1 FM in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, USfuckin’A.

Old SwaG!

A clearly obsessed listener had recorded episodes of Bat Guano’s SwaG! in 2005-2006. Not only did he record them, he cut each up into individual songs, Guano commentaries, etc. And he labeled each according to assumed artist/title. He then left digital archives of this at WIDR studios. He (or she) did so anonymously, citing paranoid fears and outstanding warrants.

This person didn’t know that SwaG! was three hours for the first few episodes, so it cuts off at the end of Green Slime. He/she was using some sort of digital timer to record the program.

On this date, September 28, 2005, we get to hear beloved SwaG! feature “The Rex Morgan Roundup.” This is where Bat Guano would do an overly dramatic unrehearsed cold reading of the past week’s “Rex Morgan MD” comic strip.
