Finally, a Radio Program You Can Listen To!

When Bat Guano created SwaG!, he used ingredients specially blended for listenability.

All of the notes created by the finest musicians are in most of the songs he broadcasts. Genres are mixed and matched, compared and contrasted, hitting all the seasons that make it lively for the ears’ tongue. Then it is all lightly breaded and personally dipt in Ranch Dressing by your server, Bat Guano.

“How’s everything tastin’ tonight?”

Everything's tastin’ like SwaG!

But you can relive those carefree days of early summer right now, with these archived broadcasts of Bat Guano’s SwaG!.

Mr. Guano has been having so much fun tooling around the boardwalk (or, rather, so much fun being tooled around) that he’s forgotten to post these archived broadcasts. Oh, we’ve been so happy and gay in this good ol’ summer time! IN THE GOOD OL’ SUMMERTIME! In the good ol’ summer time! He’ll be your tootsy wootsy in the good ol’ summer time!

That song is on one of these broadcasts, we think.

SwaG! Broadcast of May 19, 2010.

SwaG! Mr. Guano assumes you all are getting it through magical podcast technology, from WIDR-FM. Or that you are satisfied with listening to it as God intended, on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. over 89.1 FM in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, USfuckin’A.

But maybe you missed all chances to hear this wonderful “variety show” of music and other sounds. So for you, here are recent old broadcasts.

SwaG! broadcast of April 28, 2010.

SwaG! broadcast of May 5, 2010.

SwaG! broadcast of May 12, 2010.

The SwaG! Not only did he record them, he cut each up into individual songs, Guano commentaries, etc. And he labeled each according to assumed artist/title. He then left digital archives of this at WIDR studios. He (or she) did so anonymously, citing paranoid fears and outstanding warrants.

This person didn’t know that SwaG! was three hours for the first few episodes, so it cuts off at the end of Green Slime. He/she was using some sort of digital timer to record the program.

On this date, September 28, 2005, we get to hear beloved SwaG! feature “The Rex Morgan Roundup.” This is where Bat Guano would do an overly dramatic unrehearsed cold reading of the past week’s “Rex Morgan MD” comic strip.

Download the 88.8 mb Zip, dip:

SwaG 09-28-05

(no.... wait. I’m not hearing a Rex Morgan there. I know there’s some Rex here, though:

SwaG 08-24-05)

SwaG! homeland.

If you did not, go here and pledge your support.

Below are two episodes of the radio program Bat Guano’s SwaG!. The one of March 17 has entirely too much of Mr. Guano’s voice pleading with various levels of desperation for pledges of support. The other is a bonus (one that we forgot to upload last time).

SwaG!
